REQUIREMENTS:
Four Credits in WASC/NECO/GCE including English Language in not more than two sittings.
OR
Grade II Teachers Certificate with at least a merit.
- Complete 60 credit hours with a minimum CGPA of 4
- Fulfill field Practicum requirement
- Evidence of Christian Character
- Complete the programme in two and not more than three years. Failure to complete in three years requires an application for extension for another one year
All courses are 2 credits each. C= compulsory; R= required; E= elective

SYLLABUS:
An examination of philosophical, theological and political theories of human rights and Christian churches and national governments. Emphasis will be placed upon the relation of theory to practice, the formation of action guidelines and the ethical criteria for the evaluation of policy proposals. Case studies will be employed. Primarily constructive and comparative. May apply to arts of ministry, public policy and planning. An analytical study of the 1948 UN charter of Human Rights.
The definitions of dialogue; its principles and purpose; areas of dialogue, with particular focus on dialogue between Christians and Muslims.
The theology of the Church, theological analysis of the preaching office, theology of the protestant tradition; history and theology of the Lord's supper, baptism, wedding service, burial service and other occasional services; liturgical care of the sick, theology and music, development and uses of hymns, choruses etc in Christian worship.
Principles of organization of church life, nature and duties of church offices. Developing vision and goals. The Pastor's role in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating church activities. Keeping church records.
A study of Christian apologetics to objections to the Christian faith from other religions and secularism, with emphasis on the relation of Christian doctrines to the Christian experience.
Basic principles of hygiene and disease prevention. First aid to emergency injury and illness. Use of basic medicines and treatment for malaria, diarrhoea, parasites and infections. How to use books like "Where there is no Doctor."
Each student is required to write a project work under the supervision of a lecturer.
